LACTO LADY contains cranberry extract and four strains of Lactobacillus and Bifidbacterium lactic acid bacterium. Cranberry is well-known of its high content of special type of flavonoids called antocyanin and proanthocyanides (PAC). These substances are responsible for the red colour of cranberry fruit. PACs are excreted to urine and make E.coli bacteria incapable to adhere on the membranes of the urinary tract.

Lactic acid bacteria belong to the normal microbe flora of the bowel, but also dominate on the mucous membranes of the vagina and urinary tract. LACTO LADY has a selection of bacterial strains that are naturally resistant to gastric acid. During bacterial production, bacteria have been protected by a special Bio-support™  technology made of proprietary blend of proteins and polysaccharide complex. This technology ensures the survival of the bacteria during manufacturing processes, storage of the final product, and when passing through stomach acidity. The protection guarantees a good viability of the bacteria when they reach the gut. The bacteria not only colonise in the intestine but also move through the anus to urogenital membranes.

Compositon

Daily dose 2 tablets contains:

• living lactic acid bacteria 1 billion cfu**
  • (Lactobacillus acidophilus, Lactobacillus casei, Lactobacillus rhamnosus, Bifidobacterium longum)
• cranberry extract 800 mg
  • of which proanthocyanidins (PAC) 36 mg

Specific information

Contains no sugar, lactose, gluten, colours, sweeteners.

Cranberry products may change the effect of blood anticoagulants.

1 tablet two times daily swallowed with water.
